The game is a battle between the girls of the senior class (SKA) and the juniors (UGH...sorry Mace). We have practices in advance, and the football boys coach us. To say they get into it is an understatement. Let's just say that at the first practice we were busy drafting our t-shirt design while the boys were drafting plays. And of course, we whipped out our cameras to capture the moments.
Lax Bro and His Gov't Girls. Julianne, Brad, and I definitely get the award for most talkative in our government class. Mr. Daileda even came to our room yesterday cursing Mrs. Gensler for how loud the laughing was. Whoops.
Head Coach Brad and Photographer Marshall examining the situation.
QB Aubs making her way through the scaredy-cat juniors. Amateurs.
And me and Shanz workin our D. I always thought I should be a linebacker in my next life. Recall this?
The victorious team!
Coach Tyler with his favorite fellow football females. We weren't quite ready for this pic, but I thought it depicted us perfectly anyway.
The outcome? Well, it was a tie. But the game was cut short right when we were at the 1-yard line. Such a cop-out. But, the victory was made ours since we supposedly had more penetration. Sorry Macy...still love you though birthday girl! Speaking of...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LANA AND MACY! Two of my favorite friends inside and out of yearbook. I'm so glad I have the both of you. Can't wait for UT these next four years, Lana! Freshman year at UT should be a lot like freshman year at Memo...the good ole days of our friendship :). And Macy, you, of course have an open invitation to come up whenever you so please!
So the senior year festivities continue! And my grades continue to fall as I read more blogs than books. C'est la vie! Congrats to the senior ladies once again!
