{watch in full screen for full enjoyment}

I found this video on the tumblr account of a senior who studies Textile and Apparel Design at UT and seems to have similar career plans to me. She spent last semester in Paris studying at Parsons and is currently in The Big Apple working for Marc Jacobs International. I shot a few questions her way to see her thoughts on all of those experiences and she warmly replied, making me feel as though my aspirations were just as feasible being at UT as NYC's Parsons or LA's FIDM. I'm looking into minoring in the Textile & Apparel department, only in merchandising rather than design.

The video is a compilation of thousands of snapshots taken from New York hotels of the city. It really is amazing how much can be packed onto one densely populated island. I spend most of my time in a few very small confined spaces--my bedroom, a classroom, and now the office. And I've spent four years in a bubble. A bubble inside a bubble really. Seeing things like this makes me excited for future exploration, travels, experiences, and quests.
