Cheers to the Never-Ending Weekends

The weekend has already come and gone; they somehow manage to be both shorter and sweeter than high school weekends. Even more so as I envy my SMU and TCU friends who are savoring the relaxation of their fall breaks. The good news is that parties and social outings aren't reserved for the weekends in college. It's a seven day a week affair if you so desire, and while I don't have that kind of energy or stamina, it's nice having the option. Here's a look at me taking advantage of that option last Wednesday night at one of our many mixers.

And the fun didn't end there. When I returned to 2A, I was greeted with a gathering of girls celebrating the arrival of Merl's bestie--Biz (aka Elizabeth). She's a Vandy gal and is also enjoying her fall break this weekend. With how easily I clicked with Merl, I had no hesitations that I wouldn't love Biz just the same. I was proven right when we got along famously, chit chatting til the wee hours of the morning as we all snuggled in Merly Whirly's bed. We miss you in 2A already, Biz! I am already looking forward to Nashville visits in my future!

So, in the words of Rihanna, cheers to the freakin' weekend, y'all.
